Ashleigh & Michael * Holland Barn Wedding

Ashleigh and Michael’s wedding was the first time I had ever shot at Holland Barn in Gentry Arkansas. I really love the opportunity to shoot at new venues, and to see things with fresh eyes, so I was super excited about this one. I also really had the chance to spend time and get to know Ashleigh over the past year, and I really love her relaxed, easy going personality. Ashleigh spent her early years in Australia, then moved to Bentonville for High School. She then headed up to Wichita, Kansas for graduate school- met Michael, fell in love, and they decided to come back to Northwest Arkansas to celebrate their wedding. And Holland Barn offered the beautiful country setting she was looking for in a wedding venue.

I wanted to share one of the sweetest moments of this day- at the end of the night, when I was packing up my stuff to leave, Michael came to me and said “I just want to thank you for making her happy. Because that’s all that matters to me.” It was one of the most thoughtful things I’ve heard from a groom in all my wedding days.

I just really adore these two- they are so fun and full of endless love for each other.
