Ashton & Will * Tulsa Wedding Photographer

Ashton and Will contacted me last summer to photograph their wedding through a referral from their friends Christine and Tyler, whose wedding I photographed several years ago in Fayetteville. I’ve been so grateful to receive many of Christine’s friends as clients through her referral, and when I met Ashton and heard about her plans for her downtown Tulsa wedding, I couldn’t have been more excited to document her special day.

The wedding party got ready at the Courtyard Marriott in the heart of the city, which provided such a great backdrop for some unique candid moments and portraits. Ashton had a great vision for the kind of photographs she wanted from her wedding, and made sure the setting matched her ideas. I absolutely loved the way she setup our surroundings to give us every opportunity to convey the beauty of her day- from the dresses hung neatly in a row to the bridesmaids matching floral pajamas.

One of my favorite moments at Ashton and Will’s wedding was when the beautiful bride saw her father for the first time in her wedding gown. It was an emotional moment that filled both their eyes with tears, a moment that showed such a special bond. It was really touching to photograph.
