1 Year- 6 months before your wedding is the best time to contact us to ensure the best possibility that your wedding date is still available. A signed wedding agreement and 50% deposit is required to reserve your date. Cash, check, and credit card are accepted payment methods. 8-6 months before your wedding- Engagement Photos are scheduled and photographed! This is such a fun time for us to get together, get to know each other, and make some beautiful images together. If you and your fiance have a special place that is important in your relationship, we’ll start shooting there. Otherwise, I’ll find some of my favorite photo-friendly places around Arkansas for us to shoot. An engagement shoot typically lasts 1-2 hours, and is shot in at least 2 different locations with an outfit change for each spot. Don’t be afraid to show your style in accessories, props, or outfits! You’ll receive a DVD of your edited engagement photos, along with a print release, to use the images as save-the-dates, on wedding websites, or whatever other creative things you can dream up!
4-6 weeks before your wedding– This is the time to schedule and shoot your bridal photos. By this time, you should have your dress back from alterations, along with any accessories you’ll wear the day of your wedding. If possible, I recommend that we schedule your bridals on the same day as your run-through hair appointment with your stylist. Again, if you have a location in mind for the bridal shoot I’d love to hear about it. Otherwise, I’ll plan a comfortable location with proper dressing facilities for us to shoot. You’ll receive a DVD of the edited bridal photos with printing rights, as well. At this point, most of my clients will order the display print through our print lab services to ensure the highest quality product.
30 days before your wedding– The final 50% balance is due for the photography coverage.
1-2 weeks before your wedding– We’ll schedule a time to grab a coffee together, or make a phone date to discuss all the details of the wedding day. We’ll go over the timeline of the day, any special elements to the ceremony, and key items you want to make sure are photographed. We’ll also go over the dynamics of the families and any portrait arrangements for family photos.
DAY OF THE WEDDING– You’ll have the time of your life!
4-8 weeks following the wedding– Your wedding photos will be completely edited, the online gallery will be available, the slideshow will be viewed, and the DVD and prints will be delivered to you.
