I’m so excited to share Elsie and Ricardo’s amazing wedding at the Albert Pike Masonic Center in downtown Little Rock. Everything about this wedding was elegant, romantic, and fun- and I genuinely had the most amazing time documenting this day with them. I had the chance to chat with Elsie a few times before her wedding day, and just instantly clicked with this sweet bride. Her warmth and kind heart are so endearing, and her love for Ricardo made this couple so easy to photograph.
Not only were the bride and groom stunning, but the wedding party was equally as gorgeous. The gold sequined bridesmaids dresses and the classic black groomsmen tuxes gave this group a sophisticated and refined elegance. The historic downtown Albert Pike Masonic Center was the perfect backdrop. We walked across the street to a beautiful old building for a portion of their portrait session, which was so ornate and majestic, you’d never know we were shooting these portraits with a small crowd of homeless onlookers, encouraging them with shouts of congratulations!
Elsie and Ricardo’s reception was the most amazing dance party- from the sweet touching moments during their first dances with their parents, to the epic 6 minute long first dance, to the mariachi band that swept into the room filling it with the beautiful sounds of their culture. I would photograph this wedding again and again every day of the week- it was the perfect mixture of elegance, love, and celebration!
