Maci and Samuel were planning a May wedding at Sassafras Springs Vineyard, but when Covid 19 hit the country, they decided to postpone their wedding day until things settled down a bit. They were able to move their date to late August and made adjustments to utilize the beautiful outdoor spaces that Sassafras offers. It was such a lovely wedding day! A large, intricate floral wreath served as the backdrop for their wedding ceremony on the veranda. Maci and Samuel chose to do a first look, so were able to shoot all their wedding portraits prior to the ceremony. They were able to take a few minutes for dinner by themselves in the Peacock room prior to entering the wedding reception. It can be such a great idea to take a few minutes just to enjoy the quiet moments with each other on a wedding day. It was a fun evening of dancing and celebration. They chose to do cold box fireworks as their wedding exit- something I had never photographed before, but WOW! It was so amazing to see! Check out this soft, sweet light and airy wedding day below!
