Wallace Family * Northwest Arkansas Studio Family Portraits

The Wallace Family came in to my Fayetteville studio a few weeks ago for a family portrait session-their baby boy Henry also celebrated his first birthday with the cutest cake smash session. I photographed April and Sam’s wedding a few years ago at Fairlane Station in Springdale, and really loved getting to know throughout that process. Some people you just click with, and I definitely felt that way with them. April was a former newspaper journalist at the paper I used to work at as well, so their was a commonality we shared. I was so excited meet baby Henry and see their son Jack again- we met up at Gulley Park for the first half of the session, then headed back to the studio for a little cake smashing. Henry has the most gentle disposition and delicately ran his fingers through the icing on his cake. It was so fun to photograph.

I’ve been so lucky to have so many of my wonderful former wedding clients bring their babies to see me this summer- what an incredible and humbling honor to document these important moments.
