Marissa and Andrew were married in an intimate ceremony at Cox Chapel on the campus of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Andrew’s Alma Mater. I had the pleasure of meeting these two, and their families, on a family photo shoot last summer in Michigan, and when they asked me a few months later to travel to Dallas to photograph their wedding, I was so excited. Shooting in a new location, especially one as gorgeous as the oak-tree lined campus of SMU, with such a sweet couple was a dream. Andrew and Marissa wanted their wedding to be intimate- choosing only their immediate families to watch them exchange vows at the historic chapel. Following the ceremony, they celebrated with friends at a downtown Dallas steakhouse. Andrew and Marissa’s love for each other is so evident- and I couldn’t have been more grateful to be there to witness the start of their marriage.
