About Sarah

I’ve been a documentary photographer for over 10 years- working for newspapers and magazines across the country. I’ve photographed three presidents, riots, births, deaths, celebrities, and some of the largest sporting events in the world. But my favorite thing to photograph has always been love.

A few years ago, when I was searching for a photographer to shoot my own wedding, I struggled to find someone who made the images I was looking for. I love the small, sweet moments found in the chaos. The emotion between people. The beauty in the imperfections. I finally found a photographer who made the most authentic, unique, and beautiful photos- and those pictures felt like such a gift to me and my family. I realized then that I wanted to use my camera to give that same gift to others.

SBP is a small boutique wedding photography business- the couples I work with are more than clients- they become friends. I accept about 20 weddings per year, and travel through the journey with each bride & groom I work with. I’m committed to providing a positive experience for every couple, to work as hard as I can to document their most important memories.

My husband and I live with our four kittens in Fayetteville, Arkansas. We intended to make only a quick stop in Northwest Arkansas, but 6 years later we’re more in love with this state than ever.

Education: Arizona State University, B.A in Photojournalism
