Drew & Lily * Little Rock Wedding Photography

I talked to Lily on the phone a few days before her wedding and asked her what the most important elements in her wedding were to make sure I captured, and she said to me “family’. It was such a sweet sentiment, and has come to define how I know Lily and Drew. Their family was such a big part of their wedding celebration- Drew’s sister, father, and brother-in-law were his wedding party, along with his best friend. Lily did a first look with her father, who was a great presence on their wedding day. It was obvious these two had planned their day to perfectly incorporate what was most important to them- their families.

This day was truly a celebration of a marriage- Lily and Drew had secretly eloped several months before in New York City in a private ceremony of just the two of them and a ‘hippy’ minister. They used their evening at the Arkansas Arts Center as a celebration of love, family, and friends.

I was so happy to photograph Drew’s sisters wedding several years ago, and being able to watch this lovely family grow and change has been such a gift.
