YOUR
QUESTIONS
ASK me ANYTHING. No, really.
Choosing a wedding photographer is a big deal.
I'm here to help in any way I can. Don't ever worry about asking too many questions- a wedding photographer is by your side in the most intimate moments on your big day. It's important for you to feel comfortable- and the more I know about your vision, thoughts, and ideas- the more connected you'll feel to the experience and your photos. At the end of it all, my goal is for you to feel that I always had your best interest at heart, and saw your relationship as unique and beautiful as you are.
What's your style?
My background is in journalism, so my style really draws on that- watching for authentic, genuine moments between people. I put a lot of effort into planning and facilitating portraits, but I'm a big fan of putting you in the right spots, and letting your personalities shine through- instead of placing you in canned poses. My goal is to help coach you through the process, without stifling what makes you unique.
How many weddings do you shoot each year?
Truly, the most important thing to me is the client experience. I want to have the time to get to know you, to deliver images as quickly as possible, and exceed your expectations. For that reason, I take only 15-20 weddings per year.
How long does it take to get our photos? how many images will we receive?
An online gallery will be made available to you within 6-8 weeks of your wedding. Generally, you can expect a minimum of 50 images per hour of coverage.
What if it rains on our wedding day?
Rain happens. It's so important to try not to forgot why you're getting married in the first place- to celebrate your love, not to celebrate the sunshine. Rain gives us a chance to get creative and to think outside the box. Some of my favorite wedding days have been photographed in the rain. So if the weather is less than what you had imagined, embrace it. I sure will. And I promise your photos will be just as beautiful.
Do you have back-up equipment?
I travel to every wedding with 4 Nikon professional camera bodies, 7 lenses, 4 portable flashes, 2 studio lights, and countless cards, cords, stands and batteries. So no worries on the extra gear.
My venue is kind of dark. do you know how to shoot in this type of situation?
I pride myself in having the experience and knowledge to shoot in every lighting situation. Because your photos should look good even outside of that instagram square.
You are perfect for us! how do we book?
I knew I liked you! To officially reserve your wedding day, a signed wedding agreement and 50% deposit are required.
