Maddie and Sam had the best, happiest, relaxed attitude when planning, and replanning their wedding several times this year because of Covid. Each time Maddie would call me with a new date or location, she wasn’t even remotely fazed by juggling all the new plans. She was focused on the whole reason to have her wedding in the first place- to marry her love. She had a wonderful team of friends and family who helped her create a magical day, and all the rearranging gave her the opportunity to find a complete diamond in the rough of a wedding venue- The Legacy at MK Ranch in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. A private, sweet venue tucked down a long gravel drive, past several neighborhoods in eastern Oklahoma. This venue opened a year ago, and the owners thought of every detail to ensure a beautiful setting for beautiful photos. A blue board and baton building with a crisp while interior, with comfortable dressing suits for not just the bride, but the groom as well. They were warm and welcoming, and it was just such a great experience shooting a wedding there. Not only is Maddie a gorgeous bride, but she has the sweetest disposition. I actually had the opportunity to photograph several of Maddie and Sam’s friends weddings over the years, so when I met them, they already felt like old friends. Check out this gorgeous eastern Oklahoma wedding below:
